Brian Hawkins

Brian brings over twenty years of Insurance Industry experience to HoundDog. His insurance career began in 1998 with Geico Insurance in San Diego, CA. He went on to work for several prominent insurance companies such as Fireman’s Fund, Berkshire Hathaway, Missouri Employers Mutual,Travelers, and Nationwide. His experiences include positions in claims, underwriting, business development and as a carrier representative calling on contracted agents and brokers. Brian holds a B.A. in Business Management from Webster University’s George Herbert Walker School of Business & Technology. Brian is a licensed Missouri Property & Casualty Insurance agent and earned an Associate of Risk Management designation from the The Institutes (f/k/a TheInsurance Institutes of America) in 2009. He has served on The JC Federal Employees Credit Union’s Board of Directors for the past 5 years. In his time away from work, Brian spends time investing in residential real estate. Brian, his wife, and their three children reside in the Columbia MO area.
